Laurie Millotte, Founder and Chief Amazement Officer
Vancouver, BC, Canada
Favorite drink: Pinot Noir from Burgundy
With 13+ years of experience as a Creative Director and Designer in the wine & food industry, Laurie brings to life delightful designs with like-minded clients from every corner of the world.
She has received numerous awards and even had the honor to have her work exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art for the exhibition How Wine Became Modern: Design + Wine 1976 to Now.
A problem-solver at heart, Laurie created Outshinery after seeing her clients struggle with imagery and miss out on sales and distribution opportunities. She’s proud to have her business donate 5% of Outshinery’s profits to WaterAid Canada (because wine or beer is only so good when enjoyed next to a glass of clean water).

Phung also manages and mentors the 3D artist team, to ensure our high standards are always met.
Phung graduated with the highest distinction and holds a Multimedia System diploma. He has since delivered outstanding work for Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and other companies worldwide.
Yana Kabirova, Sunshine Officer
Kelowna, BC, Canada
Favorite drink: Dirty gin martini, with a side of sunshine
Adventures, colorful and dynamic life is what Yana is after.
Throughout her career she’s been working with individuals and teams to understand what is important to them and helping create ways to achieve that. She loves seeing people light up and go after what they believe in; and not doing it all alone.
At Outshinery, it brings her great joy to make clients’ lives easier, so they can spend quality time doing what they are passionate about – wines, beers, spirits, ciders, meads or creating stunning designs for such. Working on improving internal processes is also part of the daily fun in Yana’s role, so if you have any suggestions, send them her way. 😀
And every time a new request comes it, it is like Christmas to watch it all come to life by Outshinery magicians.

Sam Mitrani, Marketing Automation Leader
Favorite drink: Hoegaarden White
Sam is a 40-year-old father of two. He lives with his family in a small village in Israel. He’s a big football fan (and to clarify, he means European football, not American football).
As a digital marketing industry veteran with a decade of experience, he’s a pro at digital product development. For the past four years he’s consulted clients with a focus on marketing automation. Sam is in charge of campaign management in all ad platforms, optimizing the Outshinery message so it gets to more people.
Luke Pittman, Chief Technical Officer
Favorite drink: Old Fashioned
Luke has embraced the role of uber-geek since the age of 13, when he ran his own BBS (oh, those were the times). When his family got connected to the internet via a ridiculously fast 14.4 kbps dial-up connection, he started developing web sites and building all kinds of cool web-things. Fast-forward 900 years and nothing has changed, other than his connection speed. He’s still developing cool things, but now as a member of the very fun and talented Outshinery team!
When he’s not Outshinery-ing (Luke made up a word!) he enjoys a variety of things; from racing radio-controlled cars to off-roading in his 4Runner. He also enjoys Yoga, but claims he’s a bit chubby-wubby and completely inflexible so that is pretty much a disaster. (We’ve never seen this in action, so that claim is unverified!)
Becca Watts, Sunshine Officer
Halifax, NS, Canada
Favorite Drink: Currently loving side cars!
Becca has worked in the restaurant industry for years and she loves collaborating with different wineries, distilleries, and breweries and getting to know their products! Her passion is working with people to really understand where they are coming from and what they want and partnering with an incredible team (like here at Outshinery) to make it happen. Becca holds almost 10 years in customer service experience and she would love to assist you in making your dream images a reality!

Favorite drink: Peated Whisky
Before embarking on the Outshinery adventure, Jef worked alongside multiple designers for five years. Multidisciplinary, he is in charge of everything web, as well as turning some of the Outshinery team’s crazy ideas into a reality. Jef enjoys good challenges, and nothing scares him, effectively making him a perfect team member!
Jef listens to music the moment he wakes up till he goes to bed, only techno music ^^.
Surjit Sidhu, Full-stack Developer
Favorite drink: Red wine, on occasion
Surjit is Outshinery’s Full-stack Developer, with more than seven years of hands-on experience in the field of web development. Prior to joining the team, he was working on his own start-up project called ZesleCP and he has served various companies all over the globe (remotely). Surjit started dealing with the computers back in 2005, in the days of long, beeping-sound dial-up internet connections that required a couple minutes to connect the network . He is a self-taught professional who believes in practical knowledge and hands-on experience over just reading it in a book. He’s always curious to learn new things and never stops exploring for the same.
In his spare time, he loves to listen to music.
